1. How to fully utilize my product?
(a) Do I need to preheat the Air Fryer?
Preheating the oven is optional because an Air Fryer heats much faster than an Oven. Especially with our 360° Rapid Air Technology, the high speed and strong heat will fry your food thoroughly on all sides to a crisp within minutes.
(b) Depending on food type, what are the preparation times and temperature settings suitable?
The table below should provide you with an idea of the Preparation times and Temperature settings depending on food type. The cooking times are not based on preheating the Air Fryer.
Note: Keep in mind that these settings are just a general guideline. Actual cooking timing may vary by the different types of food. E.g., size and quantity of food, thickness of meat. There is no guarantee on the best setting for your ingredients.
(c) Should I add oil into the Air Fryer?
Adding oil into the Air Fryer is not always necessary because the Rapid Air Technology uses naturally produced oil from the food itself, cooking your food with 80% less oil.
However, there are a few things to note before adding oil into your Air Fryer:
- Oil must not be put inside the Fryer Pan
- Mix the oil in your ingredient or coat your meat with a layer of oil before putting it into the Air Fryer.
- Most oils are suitable to be used with an Air Fryer. Some of the most common are Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Vegetable Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
(d) Will food get stuck to my Air Fryer basket?
Like frying on non-stick pan without any oil added, often times your food does tend to stick. Similarly, to a non-stick pan, your Air Frying basket has a non-stick coating on the main parts of the basket where the food comes in contact with it.
However, there are ways for you to prevent your food from sticking to your Air Fryer and you can start by simply putting a bit of oil onto the basket before frying. Refer back to 1(C) to see the list of oils that are suitable to use in the Air Fryer.
You can also prevent food from sticking onto you Air Fryer basket by getting yourself necessary accessories for the Air Fryer such as our Mayer 6” Air Fryer Silicon Basket. This is a great accessory to have if you own a any model of Mayer Air Fryer because it is compatible and it has feature such as Heat Resistant up to 240°C, but it is also Eco-friendly and reusable, a replacement accessory for aluminum foil and baking paper.
(e) Why does my Air Fryer smell like plastic when used the first time?
This is the most asked question and we’re here to tell you to not worry! All of our Air Fryers have a protective coat that will give of a plastic burning smell when used the first time. After a couple of usage, the plastic will have burnt away completely and the smell will go away too. Another thing to keep in mind is that, the burning of the plastic and the smell is completely harmless.
2. Air Fryer Maintenance and Cleaning
(a) How do I properly store the Air Fryer?
After you use the Air Fryer, it is best to allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before putting it away. Make sure that you unplug your Air fryer.
To speed up the cooling down process, you may also detach the Frying Basket from the Air Fryer, you may wash the basket and leave it to dry while the Air Fryer gets cooled down.
(b) What kind of surface does the Air Fryer need to be on? Will the heat damage my countertop?
You can place Mayer’s range of Air Fryers on any surface and not have to worry that the heat transferred when the Air Fryer is working will damage your countertop or table.
Most of Mayer’s Air Fryer line up is fitted with rubber feet.
However, please remember that the frying basket does not have supporting feet hence after usage, it may be too hot to be placed on a countertop as it will have direct contact with the frying basket. For this, we recommend you place the frying basket or a Trivet or a thick layer of Heat-resistant Cloth.
(c) How do I clean my Mayer Air Fryer, frying basket and Frying Pan?
Tips: Clean the appliance after every use and before storage and please note that it is not advisable to use the Dishwasher to clean Mayer’s Air Fryers lineup.
Follow the Guide below on how to properly clean your Air Fryer:
- There is non-stick coating on the frying basket and basket tray. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning material to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
- Unplug the air fryer from the power socket and allow the appliance cool fully. You can also remove the frying basket from the appliance to make the appliance cool down quickly.
- Wipe the outside of the unit housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse unit housing in
water or any other liquid and do not rinse under running water. - Clean the frying basket and basket tray with hot water, some washing-up liquid and a
non-abrasive sponge. - Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean the heating element with a damp cloth or a cleaning brush to remove any food
Residues.

(a) How long is the delivery time?
Once you have placed an order, our team here at Mayer will process your order within 24 hours Working Day.
Your order will then be ready for the courier to pick up which normally takes between 1-3 Working days.
Subsequently, the courier will deliver your order to you within 3-5 Working Days.
Please remember that, public holidays may affect the processing and delivery time of your order.

(c) Does the Air Fryer come with a Warranty? How can I claim for product warranty?
Yes, our Air Fryer line up comes with a 1 Year Local Manufacturer Warranty.

(d) Where is the Serial Number for my Air Fryer located?
The serial number is located at the Rating Label. The Rating Label can be found at the bottom of the Air Fryer.
(e) Are Mayer Air Fryers SIRIM Certified?
Yes, all of our Air Fryers are SIRIM Certified. There is a SIRIM Label on all our Air Fryer lineup. The SIRIM Label can be found either on the side of the product or at the Bottom of the product, on the Rating Label.
